Celebrating Creation’s Glory – 5-7 July 2013

Celebrating Creation’s Glory will be a Working Retreat in the organic garden at The Well, Willen.

Creations GloryWork with gardener Kevin Stephenson to explore the meditative nature of physical activity, interspersed with sessions of meditation led by Anthony Purvis.

The retreat is for the physically active as it will involve practical work in the garden, such as weeding, planting and harvesting, (weather and seasons permitting).

Outdoor Eucharist at Holy Trinity Headington Quarry Vicarage garden: “Gardens & the Sacred” – exploring our connection with God and with nature through the sacredness of gardens.

Re Enchanting Nature – Saturday 22nd June

A Quiet Day to re-engage with the natural world and through prayer and contemplation to explore our response to the current understanding of the cosmos and the sense of the connectedness of all creation as experienced through Franciscan Spirituality.

The day will be led by Revd Liz Baker, Anglican Priest and Director of the Well Community and a trained Labyrinth Facilitator, drama and movement teacher. Liz has lived and worked at the Well since 2001 and is an Associate of the Society of the Sacred Mission and has a particular interest in the sacramental in the everyday.
