Spirit of the Environment Conference – Living sustainably with faith in our communities

Special event for Climate Week 2013. Organised jointly by the Qadiri Rifai Sufi Order Oxford, Oxford Quakers and Inner Space Oxford

A one day interfaith community conference to raise awareness about climate change and sustainable living, and explore new ways forward.

There will be a variety of speakers from different faiths who are involved in sustainability awareness or projects (including Rev Mark Laynesmith, Anglican Chaplain, Reading University), providing short ‘TED’ type talks, a vegetarian networking lunch, and a World Cafe style afternoon session with local groups and faith communities.

Organised by Oxford Quakers, the Brahma Kumaris and the Qadiri Rifai Sufi Order.
