The CMS Crowther Centre for Mission Education is organising a symposium entitled ‘Be the Change: care of the earth as an integral part of mission’. The day will be led by Sister Dr Rose Uchem, MSHR, current CMS missiologist in residence and a senior lecturer at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and will explore four questions:
- Where are we? Examining the current state of the environment, society and our place in it
- How did we get here? Tracing the root causes that led to our current imbalance
- What’s possible for the future? Discovering new ways of relating with each other and with the Earth
- Where do we go from here? Considering the impact we can make individually and collectively
