On 17th June the congregation of the Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Wargrave, in Berkshire, will be hosting Sir John Houghton to talk on ‘Global Warming & Climate Change – A Challenge to Scientists and Christians: What should we believe?’
Sir John Houghton is the renowned climate scientist, former Met Office chief executive, founder of the Hadley Centre, lead editor of the first three IPCC reports, and co-chair of the Nobel Peace Prize winning IPCC scientific assessment group.
The event will take place on Thursday 17th June, 7.30pm for 8pm at St. Mary’s Church, Station Road, Wargrave – and is being organised by the church eco-group and is free.
